To achieve what you want, from life, as opposed to what others expect of you, you need to embrace what is inside, before you can begin to live your best life outside.
Radtagz is about Radical Self Love, as RuPaul says 'if you can't love yourself, how can you expect anyone else to love you'. We want to ignite a change in human behavior that starts at our core. We, like you, are on our journey of embracing who we are as individuals. Of owing our story and defining our truths. We'd like you to join us and start your own journey.
In our blog, Common Courage, we will explore ideas on how it is we have become ingrained with the notion that we exist to please others, that our lives should be judged and approved by those we let in, and how we might escape from our own worst enemy - ourselves!
F*CK The Establishment

People are taught from a young age that life is a checklist; go to school, get a job, get married, have kids, buy a house, retire, and forevermore carefully live within your means until the day you die. It's the blind leading the blind because, in the end, most of us are left feeling we missed out on many of our wildest dreams, and yet we never admit it to the next generation. An article in The Guardian from 2012 shares the Top 5 Regrets of the dying and number one on that list is:
"I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. " - Top Five Regrets of the Dying.
Radtagz is about Radical Self Love:
Deciding that we are worth fighting for, that our story is ours to own and write. We are out to push for more courageous conversations among couples, families, colleagues, and friends. To help ourselves and others acknowledge our fears and vulnerabilities, and push forward in the pursuit of our best life, regardless of the challenges we will face to do so.
There is a safe space to do this within the Radtagz community. We are collaborators. We will share our stories with you, and invite you to share yours. If we own our story, we get to write the ending.
How will you pursue your best life? Share your struggles and successes in our comments section. We’d love to hear your truth.
